Discover the 2018 Toyota Camry in Burns Harbor, Indiana

The Toyota Camry has been around for more than three decades, but Toyota continues to deliver new and improved models of this family-friendly sedan. The 2018 model is packed with standard features and comes at a price that most can afford.

Trim Levels

The 2018 Toyota Camry is available in five trim levels. These include L, LE, SE, XSE, and XLE. Exterior features on the base L trim include automatic LED headlights, 16-inch steel wheels, LED daytime running lights and combination taillights, power-operated side mirrors, and noise-reducing windshield glass. The LE tacks on 17-inch alloy wheels, while the SE offers 18-inch black alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and dual chrome exhaust tips. Heated side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators and a moonroof are available as upgrades.

The available upgrades on the LE and SE come standard on the XSE, along with smoke-tinted LED headlights and taillights, a glossy black front grille, 19-inch black alloy wheels, and quad chrome exhaust tips. At the top of the list is the XLE with chrome exhaust, 18-inch silver alloy wheels, LED taillights, and a bright metal grille.

The standard engine found in all trim levels of the 2018 Camry is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder unit, making 184 pound-feet of torque and 203 horsepower. With that engine in the XSE trim, the output increases slightly to 186 pound-feet of torque and 206 horsepower. This engine works with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The top two trim levels are also available with an optional 3.5-liter V-6, which pumps out 267 pound-feet of torque and 301 horsepower. That engine pairs with the same eight-speed automatic.

Every 2018 Toyota Camry comes with front-wheel drive as the only option. Commuters love the fuel efficiency, especially with the 4-cylinder engine. EPA estimates come in at 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway for a combined 32 mpg with the base engine. Stepping up to the V-6 engine will drop the estimates slightly to 22 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, with a combined 26 mpg.

Standard interior features on the L trim include a six-speaker sound system with a basic version of Toyota's Entune infotainment system, a 7-inch touch screen, Siri Eyes Free voice controls, a USB port, Bluetooth connectivity, a 4.2-inch driver information display screen, fabric-trimmed manually adjustable front seats, wood interior trim, and a 12-volt power outlet. With the LE trim, you'll get a 60/40 split folding rear seat with a center armrest and cup holders, along with power-adjustable front seats with power lumbar support. Opting for the SE trim adds automatic climate control, simulated leather upholstery, a simulated leather-trimmed steering wheel, and mesh interior trim.

Choose the XSE to get dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, heated and leather-trimmed front seats, rear adjustable headrests, selectable driving modes, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The top XLE trim has nicer interior trim and a leather-trimmed steering wheel. Options include a JBL audio system, wireless phone charging, and a head-up display.

Safety Features
